Life Lately

Guten Tag! :)

Life lately has been full of activities and preparations for our little man's arrival in June. I have been studying German on Wednesday evenings. Rocky has been busy with work on several projects. And little Miss Savannah has been involved in music classes and swim classes. German is going good, I've learned a few key phrases. I can now order meat at the butcher in German! Savannah is starting to really enjoy her music class. It's all in German so it helps me learn as well. Swimming classes started last week. She was hesitate of the water at first but then warmed up and enjoyed herself. We are going to keep her enrolled in the courses until she is a full blown swimmer. She has a water safety card where the instructors check off her accomplishments as she hits them. It is great! Rocky will be doing this class with her every week so they will have the bonding time.

We have just about everything ready for the baby...I think! The hospital is right around the corner from our building. We could walk there but Rocky thinks we should drive, we shall see! :) We are still deciding on names. We have three picked out but can't seem to make a decision. It's so hard! Once we see his beautiful face we will decide. :)

Last month we took a weekend trip to see the famous tulips in Keukenhof, aka the Garden of Europe, located near Lisse, Netherlands. The garden was breathtaking. I have never seen so many beautiful flowers in my life. The air was crisp, fresh and very clean. I loved it! The town was very picturesque with windmills and wild horses, ducks and cows roaming the roadside. These animals were gorgeous, like the kind you see in the books! We stayed in a beach town about 20 minutes from the gardens and an hour from Amsterdam. Everyone was very nice, it was great to see so many smiling faces. It was kinda cool to see a European beach town. Same feel as at home, just European and cold! This was Lilly's first trip here and she did good, although when we went to Amsterdam for the day she wasn't allowed in any of the museums. Not too big of a problem though. We mainly walked around and toured the city for a few hours. Amsterdam is very pretty, and everyone bikes. So much that I thought I was going to get run over! And I think I was the only pregnant lady I saw, pushing a stroller with toddler at that! It was a cool town, only wish we could have gone 5 years ago! Savannah got to enjoy the Nemo museum while Rocky walked Lilly around. It is a science museum so she played with massive bubbles and a few other things. It's mainly for older children but the bubble exhibit was a hit.

I have posted pictures from our trip and pictures from Easter and the past few months. Enjoy :)

Hugs and kisses to everyone.
We love you and miss you!

Elizabeth
